A deeper insight into the pottering of Mr. George, Mr. Scholes, and Mr. Robson.

10 Songs in a Day…Mission Impossible?

Our Team:

C.W. Cobalt (Craig Matthews) of the Flat Astronauts and the Tombstone Teeth – Writer, Lead Vox, and Conductor.

Bread Morton (Brett Moreland) longtime collaborator and guitarist for the Tombstone Teeth – Electric and Acoustic Guitar

T.D. Walker (GSRV) – Vox, Violin, Mandolin, and Acoustic Guitar

Our Mission:

Record 10 songs in 24 hours in Rockland, Maryland at Intervention Con

Our Guidelines:

  • Take characteristics and sonic structures of each song off Led Zeppelin III, make it atonal, polyrhythmic, and inject it with poetic narrations inspired by 1930s comic books
  • Be exciting enough to entertain the passing convention-ers as they look in on our fishbowl-like makeshift studio in the Hilton Library

And here’s what happened…

Some other Highlights if you’re still curious

Look forward to sharing the fruits of our bizarre labor with everyone once mixing is done. Stay Tuned!

Be Righteous,

~ G.S.R.V
